An international automotive component manufacturer in the Farmington Hills, MI area is looking for an Account Manager responsible for managing existing customers and helping to promote business development.

Responsibilities:

- Manage existing customer accounts and help develop new business opportunities

- Maintain communication with customers' purchasing and engineering contacts

- Establish/develop relationship with the customer as primary contact

- Support R&D engineering in translating customers' needs into a feasible product

- Research industry trends to aid in procurement of new business streams

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree (preferably in business administration or engineering)

- At least 2 years of technical sales

- At least 2 years of automotive industry experience

- Ability to travel up to 25 percent

- Strong communication and organizational skills

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
